APPLICATIONS OF WOOL
How to treat wool articles?
Wool suits should always be dry cleaned at least once a season, before replacing them in the wardrobe, or even more if light coloured or worn frequently. Some articles, above all, knitwear, can also be washed in water, using neutral soap and following the instructions carried on the label. They should not be bleached or wring.
Ironing should be deep, i.e. completely drying the fabric dampened by steam from the iron or a damp cloth
, as the wool, being very hydro sceptic, absorbs the humidity and the fibres swell and again become elastic.
