Polyamide 12 (PA12) is a thermoplast with the lowest water absorption of the Nylon family. It has however at the same time the lowest melting point of all the important Polyamides. 

Polyamide 12 usually is applied in packing material, electronics or cosmetics, however it has also found its place in the textile industry for sporting or leisure goods.
