Polyamide 11, abbreviated PA11, is a high performance thermoplastic polymer that is produced from castor seeds, thus bio-based but not bio-degredable. Despite the plant of origin being toxic to humans, Polyamide 11 is physiologically harmless and tissue-friendly.
