Modacryl MAC is a slightly modified acryl fiber. Modacrylic fibers are flame retardant. Furthermore, they are non-combustable, resistant to mildew as well as acids and has a good shape retention. Modacryl is easy to dye, soft and lightweight.

Thanks to these properties, modacrylic fiber is often used in home furnishing (curtains, blankets, ...) as well as apparel.
