FEP
INTRODUCTION TO FLUORINATED ETHYLENE PROPYLENE FEP
Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene FEP is a copolymer that consists of carbon and flourine only and is fully flourinated. Flourinated Ethylene Propylene FEP is thus, similar to PTFE, resistant to highly corrosive substances like acids or bases.
FEP is also resistant to radiation and UV whilst it is non-combustable. FEP does however transmit more UV as well as visible and infrared radiation than normal glass.
