Chitosan

Swicofil offers chitosan as follows:

• fibers
  in dtex 1.6 up to dtex 1.7
  short cut (2mm - 5 mm) or then cutlength of 38mm
   
• spun yarn (ring spun)
  in blends of 10% chitosan / 90% combed cotton
  in Ne 40/1 up to Ne 21/1

The here mentionned yarn and fibers are produced by mixing chitosan and cellulose viscose.

Furthermore, Swicofil also offers Crabyon, a fiber that combines chitosan and cellulose very uniformely thanks to a new patented technology.
