Aluminium Al is a chemical element with atomic number 13. It is a light metal with good thermal and electrical conductivity, so that Aluminium is very suitable for application in cables and heat exchangers. 

Aluminium can be recycled by considerable less energy used compared to primary aluminium production (energy consumed by primary production: 100%; energy consumed by recycling production: 5%).
